For a March pattern there was only one choice - a daffodil. I love having a vase of these on my desk as I work, they are so joyful.
With this pattern there are so many options for making it unique:
vary the colour of the daffodils - stitch them both in the same colour way or even stitch the petals and trumpet in the same colour
when tracing the pattern vary the number of flowers you trace
add in a vase or leaves (you’ll see from the video below of my making of this pattern that I tried both of these and decided to go for the simplest composition!)
