This design was inspired by the flamingo flower plant in my living room that has tolerated my sporadic watering to produce beautiful red flowers. In this design I wanted to capture the beautiful shapes and colours of this plant.
I love this design as it combines traditional embroidery stitches with felt to create a contemporary, modern stitched artwork.
The design consists of four different embroidery stitches (chain stitch, stem stitch, split stitch and french knots). Whether you are a seasoned embroider or this is the first time you are picking up a needle, the colour instruction booklet will guide your through each of these stitches.
This listing is for an embroidery DIY kit which will arrive with you packaged in a A5 sized box (that fits straight through a standard letterbox).
